Michael L. Coyne is Massachusetts School of Law’s President, Dean, and a Professor of Law. He teaches Civil Procedure and Conflict Resolution, Evidence, Trial Advocacy, and Remedies. He is a graduate of Boston Latin School, Boston State College, and Suffolk University Law School. He previously practiced law in Boston representing clients in civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. He has been a trial attorney for many years and heads MSLAW’s award winning Trial Advocacy Program. He is the coauthor of Trial Prep for the New Advocate, Trial Prep for Paralegals, Bar Exam Bootcamp, and Modern Procedural Remedies. He has also authored numerous articles for publication, lectured on Evidence for a national bar review company, and serves as legal analyst for NBC10 Boston, New England Cable News, and NBC Sports Boston. Because of his expertise as a trial lawyer, he is frequently called upon by other media for his analysis concerning legal issues in state and federal courts.
